Dr. Alexandra Tsang

Dr. Alexandra Tsang is a licensed clinical psychologist with a specialization in forensic psychology. She serves as the Director and Chief Psychologist at a Chicago based governmental organization and holds a forensic private practice. In her 23 years of forensic psychology work, she has conducted fitness to stand trial assessments, sanity evaluations, custody evaluations, Miranda Warnings, sex offender evaluations, sexually violent predator evaluations, violence risk assessments, school shooting threat assessments and juvenile transfer evaluations.

She has facilitated establishing programs for juveniles in detention and trains court services personnel on several topics. She has testified as an expert witness on numerous occasions. She also assists law enforcement in conducting fitness for duty evaluations and pre-employment screenings and is a Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) trainer. Dr. Tsang conducts forensic assessments for other governmental jurisdictions, is a public speaker and does expert witness consultation. She has performed numerous assessments for school districts and has presented to polygraphers, judges, attorneys and probation officers on a wide variety of forensic topics.

More About Dr. Tsang

Prior to forensic work, Dr. Tsang has held two clinical private practices with a focus on individual and family therapy, has worked on an inpatient psychiatric unit and has worked with behavioral disordered children. She has also worked with DCFS in parent-child reunification processes, adoption and abuse cases.

Dr. Tsang obtained her Bachelors of Science degree from Loyola University, her Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology and her Doctorate of Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She holds licensure in Illinois as a Clinical Psychologist and licensure as an Illinois Sex Offer Evaluator. Dr. Tsang is an appointed Fermilab Community Advisory Board member serving her second term.
